Our Invite is the data controller for the personal data you provide through this website.
Location: Egypt
Contact email: info@our-invite.com
We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data only as needed to provide the service.
2. Data We Collect
Our Invite is a self-service platform. You build your own invitation, and the data we hold is essentially the data you choose to enter. We collect the following types of personal data:
- Account data: email address, used to sign you in via a magic link or one-time code
- Invitation content you create: couple names, event dates, venue details, photos you upload, any text you write (in any language), music URLs or uploaded audio, and the guest list you manage
- Shared access emails: email addresses you add as a partner to give access to your invitation
- Payment data: processed securely by our payment provider (Merchant of Record). We do not store card numbers or billing details
- Technical data: session cookies required to keep you signed in, and minimal server logs (IP address, timestamps) used for security
3. Purpose of Processing
We use your data to:
- Create and host your digital wedding invitation
- Authenticate you and keep your session active
- Grant access to the partner email you specify
- Process payments securely through our payment provider
- Communicate with you about your account, your invitation, or a complaint you have raised
- Comply with legal and tax obligations
4. Legal Basis for Processing
The processing of your data is based on:
- Contract execution: to provide the service you have purchased
- Consent: for any optional communication we ask you to opt in to
- Legitimate interest: to keep the platform secure and improve it
- Legal obligation: to comply with tax and other legal requirements
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for the time necessary to:
- Keep your invitation active (for as long as the service operates)
- Comply with legal obligations (transaction records retained in line with applicable tax rules)
- Resolve possible claims
If you request deletion of your account and invitation, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except for records we are legally required to retain.
6. Data Recipients
We may share your data with:
- Our payment provider (Merchant of Record), for secure payment processing

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all communications
- Secure database storage with row-level access controls so each user can only access their own invitation and guests
- Restricted administrative access
- Payment card data is handled entirely by our PCI-DSS certified payment provider and is never stored on our servers
9. International Transfers
Your data is stored on secure servers operated by our infrastructure providers, which may be located outside Egypt. Where that is the case, we rely on the contractual and technical safeguards offered by those providers to protect your data in accordance with applicable data-protection regulations.
